When a bunch of amazing people…

Under normal circumstances, I would not be able to go very far from home so I never thought I would be going to see KEiiNO playing live unless they were playing on the lawn in front of my house. But because a little bunch of absolutely amazing people have chipped in in different ways, a huge dream is now all of a sudden coming true, more or less out of the blue, and I am now going to Kristiansand later today, to be at the KEiiNO concert at Bendiksbukta at 7pm. Am I happy? YES.

Unbreakable Review – Karina Brandt

Not surprisingly has KEiiNO given us fans yet another fantastic single release that surpasses the expectations of many of us.

“Unbreakable” is, without comparison, one of the most unique EDM songs on the market, a true gem.

The way KEiiNO and their composing partners have played with the lyrics, the melody and the soundscape this time, really drags us into the cold dark winter woods of a fairytale. Adult Fandom – Ebba Glasell

The reason why I became so passionate about them, and eventually starting following them on Instagram, and listen to their music on Spotify was because I, like them, share a very similar story of always being told, as a child in school, that I was not good enough because I was different from the rest of my friends. So when “Spirit in the Sky” was released, I was overjoyed because not only are Alexandra and Tom the greatest vocalists of all time, but Fred and his joiking was a welcoming bonus! I knew about Fred previously from listening to his Sámi rap group, Duolva Duottar!

Adult Fandom – James Scanlan

Like many fans, my first taste of KEiiNO came at the Norsk Melodi Grand Prix final in 2019. I was live-blogging the event for Eurovision Ireland (www.eurovisionireland.net) and despite having heard the hype around Spirit in the Sky, I’d deliberately avoided listening to any of the songs in the selection so that my reactions to MGP were genuine first impressions.

Amazing MGP performance

Saturday the 20th arrived, the nerves were on the outside since the morning, and the day was VERY long.

They made an absolutely amazing performance, Alexandra nailed her high note with perfection, and the entire staging and setup and their fantastic new white and silver outfits were so perfect. The happiness that radiated from their faces, their smiles, their energy… it was heartwarming and overwhelming and a true joy to wittness.
