What a magical evening

What a magical evening

Is Alexandra for real? Or is she a figment of our wishful imaginations?

Nine Saturdays in a row, Alexandra Rotan has now blown us over with her talent. Saturday after Saturday, she overdid herself from the Saturday before, and more than a few times did she leave both audience and judges in tears.

Of course we knew she was great, but over the weeks she has grown even further, and she may not have a professional musical education behind her like so many others, but giving her the stamp PROFESSIONAL would be appropriate after this.

End of Time (Taste of Heaven)

Oh my god it’s Armageddon
I just saw a demon in the park
All I see is stars
and I feel it in my heart
I’m all ready now, Celestial
Hey, it’s just the end of time
If you wear those pants up to the door
They will let you in
cause you wear them like a sin
I’m all ready now, Celestial

I was a fool

I was a fool

Tom Hugo & Alexandra Rotan
Alexander Nyborg Olsson

Tell me all the stories
From when we were young
And how we danced all night
We were always dreaming
Would follow the lights
Back when they were so bright

Show me all the sunsets
We lost in the west¨when we were beautiful
Tell me all the mornings
We swam in the lake
Were unforgettable

I remember waiting for you
By the train
I remember
Losing my mind

I was so young when we met – I was a fool
Darling, I’m still foolish and I can’t forget
I was a fool – was a fool
I thought you were cruel when you left – I was a fool
Darling, now the memories are all I have left
I was a fool – was a fool

I still see you laughing
With all of the boys
You were the gorgeous one
I still hear you crying
You said you were lost
And you would always run

Last night I was walking
Alone in the rain
I thought I saw your face
At the bar by the station
Right next to the lake
That was our favourite place

I remember waiting for you
By the train
I remember
Losing my mind

I was so young when we met – I was a fool
Darling, I’m still foolish and I can’t forget
I was a fool – was a fool
I thought you were cruel when you left – I was a fool
Darling, now the memories are all I have left
I was a fool – was a fool

I was so young when we met – I was a fool
Darling, I’m still foolish and I can’t forget
I was a fool – was a fool
I thought you were cruel when you left – I was a fool
Darling, now the memories are all I have left
I was a fool – was a fool

I was a fool – was a fool
I was a fool – was a fool

Our Queen of the Night

For the past four Saturdays, Alexandra has knocked us over with her fullhearted energetic performances in the Norwegian TV battle show, “Battle of the Stars” (Stjernekamp).

With the first category being POP, she started out with her KEiiNOfied version of Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida”, which she afterwards released as a solo single through all streaming and music-shopping platforms online. A fantastic performance where we had the pleasure of hearing her hit the high notes with her ever so strong and beautiful voice.

A new way of life in Berlin

Tom, your new song “Without You” is about that special feeling when you go out to party in the evening and get to know someone. What does that mean to you?

It’s a great feeling and certainly familiar to many. Especially when you are on the go, travelling around, exploring new places and cities, you experience it again and again. My boyfriend and I met this way too.

When a bunch of amazing people…

Under normal circumstances, I would not be able to go very far from home so I never thought I would be going to see KEiiNO playing live unless they were playing on the lawn in front of my house. But because a little bunch of absolutely amazing people have chipped in in different ways, a huge dream is now all of a sudden coming true, more or less out of the blue, and I am now going to Kristiansand later today, to be at the KEiiNO concert at Bendiksbukta at 7pm. Am I happy? YES.
