It was May 18 2019, the evening of the ESC final. My husband had to go early to bed because of his work and I was trying not to make a lot of noise. But then KEiiNO appeared on the screen with “Spirit in The Sky”. The volume was increased. I was sitting there, staring at the screen, it felt like I was in the audience and was cheering to “Spirit in The Sky”.Continue reading
Like so many others, I discovered KEiiNO in the Eurovision in Tel Aviv in 2019. Their music instantly ignited a flame inside me and made me want more. At that point I was most of the time in bed because of severe illness, so I spent a lot of time on my phone, reading articles and interviews about KEiiNO and the individual members, and the more I read, the more I felt alive. They all had stories of their own struggles to tell, and somehow reading all this while listening to “Spirit in the sky” and “Shallow”, which at that point were their only two songs, I came back to ‘life’ and after some months, where things really started to improve, I felt an urge to give them something somehow.Continue reading
The first time I heard KEiiNO was when they were presented as participants in Melodi Grand Prix in 2019. (Melodi Grand Prix is the national selection in Norway). The catchy song, “Spirit in the sky” made a strong impression right away, for one (me) who has a big heart for great pop music.Continue reading

Around 12 this afternoon, some of us nearly had a heart attack. All of a sudden, the Facebook covers changed on KEiiNO’s Facebook, and on Tom’s, Alexandra’s and Freds – all into the same cover. This could mean two things, 1. A new single soon, or 2. They were among those soon to be announced as participants in this year’s Melodi Grand Prix i Norge.Continue reading
– I’m fine, it’s Saturday after all, Fred Buljo joked to VG after the voting showed that it was game over.
He didn’t despair at all, even though it was on the cards that he was hanging by a thread. Last round he was close to being voted off.Continue reading

Together with Alexandra Rotan and Tom Hugo Hermansen, Øvergård Buljo swept away all the competitors during the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix with the song “Spirit in the sky”. And from the stage in Tel Aviv they won the hearts of the public, even though a stingy jury snatched victory away from the trio.Continue reading
The reigning favourites of the audience from the Eurovision Song Contest, visited Alta this weekend, to spread the Christmas spirit and singing on City Scene. Only 50 people were allowed at each of the two concerts, one of which was part of the tour “Christmas Spirit In The Sky”.Continue reading
One can almost feel the need for revenge in the studio now, because our three next guests…, almost won the ESC in 2019, after receiving the most public votes.
But they ended up in 6th place, so here are three people who can hardly wait for the MGP (ESC) to start again. We shall not talk a lot about what happened in 2019, but we have to go there as well of course. Welcome, Tom Hugo, Alexandra and Fred, you look so happy! How long have you waited for this week?
Toured with Alan Walker – now Alexandra Rotan (21) ready for MGPContinue reading
