Review: Transarctic Lover

Since we heard a little snippet of KEiiNO and Sordal’s new collaboration single, Transarctic Lover, I have played the snipped over and over again. It had so many promises and potentials, that waiting until the 9th of October, seemed like for absolutely-ever. Now the day is here, the single is released and I am even more overwhelmed and impressed than I expected to be. The snippet we heard did NOT do the song justice.

Alexandra sings the official EHF song 2020

When this year’s European Championship in women’s handball starts in Denmark and Norway from December 3rd to 20th, the song of the year is sung by none other than our beloved Alexandra Rotan. There’s no end to my pride over this – one of my favorite sports events of the year, together with one of my idols, it doesn’t get much bigger than this.

— I was very moved by hearing the joik from Eurovision

KEiiNO has recently toured the world and latest they have charmed Australia and audience in New York. the period after participating in Eurovision has been busy. For the very first time the group visited Fred René’s home village, Kautokeino last Friday and the band had a great time with the kids and youths on Báktehárji even though the circumstances were a little smaller than what they are used to.
